Welcome to discover.games, operated by WHALEGG CORP. (“we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the discover.games website and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
1. Eligibility
Our Platform is available to users worldwide, regardless of location.
1.1 Age Limitation
discover.games is not intended for users under the age of 16. By using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old, or that you have received parental or guardian consent to use the Platform. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under 16 without such consent. If we learn that a user under 16 has registered without consent, we may delete the associated account and data.
2. User Accounts
You may access the Platform using third-party authentication services such as Google, Telegram, or Discord. By doing so, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Remain responsible for any activity under your account
You may optionally link your Steam account to enable certain features (such as game-related quests). By connecting your Steam account, you grant us permission to read your public Steam data.
3. Virtual Currency and Quests
discover.games includes a virtual currency system using Gold Points. Users may earn Gold Points by completing quests or challenges. Gold Points:
- Have no monetary value
- Cannot be exchanged for real currency
- Are non-transferable between accounts
We reserve the right to modify, limit, or terminate the Gold Point system or quest availability at any time.
4. Lootboxes and Rewards
Gold Points can be redeemed to open lootboxes, which may include:
- Game keys
- Gift cards
- Cryptocurrency rewards
- Discount codes or vouchers
Some rewards are delivered automatically; others may be fulfilled manually. If a reward is out of stock, we reserve the right to:
- Replace it with a reward of equal or higher value, or
- Cancel the reward and refund the corresponding Gold Points
4.1 Payment Review & Fraud Prevention
All payments and reward claims are subject to fraud screening. If a transaction is flagged, we may:
- Temporarily place it on hold for manual review
- Request additional user verification
- Cancel the transaction and refund the payment
- Proceed with capturing the payment only after review
We reserve the right to cancel any suspicious or fraudulent activity and take appropriate action, including account suspension.
5. Digital Goods and Payments
We sell digital goods (e.g., game keys, gift cards) via Stripe. All transactions are processed securely, and we do not store card information.
All sales are final once a reward or key is delivered. We do not offer refunds for:
- Redeemed or delivered products
- Incorrect account information provided by the user
- Lost or expired rewards
Please ensure all payment details and email addresses are accurate before completing your purchase.
6. User Content and Conduct
You may post comments or other content on the Platform. You agree not to:
- Violate applicable laws or regulations
- Post content that is abusive, offensive, or discriminatory
- Upload content that infringes on intellectual property
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Platform or other users
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts at our sole discretion.
7. Third-Party Services
Our Platform relies on third-party services to deliver its features:
- Stripe – payment processing
- PointNexus – digital product fulfillment
- Thirdweb – delivery of blockchain-based rewards
- Steam – validation of user game activity
We are not liable for errors, delays, or outages caused by these external services.
8. Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice if:
- You violate these Terms
- Fraudulent activity is detected
- Required by law or compliance obligations
Suspended or terminated accounts may lose access to rewards, points, and any data associated with the account.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WHALEGG CORP. shall not be liable for:
- Loss of data, rewards, or virtual currency
- Third-party errors or service interruptions
- User-generated content
- Issues related to cryptocurrency volatility or regulation
Our services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
